17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office Files Assault Charges Against Brandon Booth


Brighton, CO -- District Attorney Brian Mason announced today the filing of criminal charges against Brandon Booth, 42, related to a shooting that injured a female victim along North Nome Street in Aurora on July 16, 2026. 

Booth is charged with:

  • Assault in the First Degree (F3)
  • Attempted Assault in the First Degree (F4)

Case number 2026CR001921 was filed in Adams County District Court.  Affidavit requests should be made to the Adams County District Court. https://www.coloradojudicial.gov/courts/trial-courts/adams-county


The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual(s) committed offense(s) under Colorado laws. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. See Colo RPC 3.6.
