17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office Files Attempted-Murder Charge Against Winston Ical-Xol


Brighton, CO – The District Attorney’s Office announced today the filing of criminal charges against Winston Ical-Xol, 19, for allegedly shooting a female victim at a bus stop along East Colfax Avenue in Aurora on March 15, 2026. 

Ical-Xol is charged with: 

  • Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder in the Second Degree (F2)
  • Assault in the First Degree (F3)
  • Crime of Violence (SE) (2 Counts)
Case number 2026CR000834 was filed in Adams County District Court. Ical-Xol's next court appearance is on April 23, 2026, at 8:30am in Division 7. 

The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual(s) committed offense(s) under Colorado laws. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. See Colo RPC 3.6.
