17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office Files Introducing Contraband in the Second Degree Charge Against Stephanie Bagwell

Brighton, CO – The District Attorney’s Office announced today the filing of a criminal charge against Stephanie Bagwell, 52, for allegedly introducing marijuana concentrate into the Adams County Detention Facility between February 16, 2026, and March 3, 2026. 

Bagwell is charged with: 

  • Introducing Contraband in the Second Degree (M2)
Case number 2026CR000592 was filed in Adams County Court. Bagwell's next court appearance is on April 24, 2026, at 8:45am in Division 6. 

The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual(s) committed offense(s) under Colorado laws. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. See Colo RPC 3.6.
