17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office Files Felony Drug Charges Following North Metro Task Force Investigation

Brighton, CO – The District Attorney’s Office announced today the filing of multiple felony drug charges against two defendants following an investigation conducted by the North Metro Task Force. 

Oscar Serrano Romano (25CR3453) and Enrique Delgadillo Ruiz (25CR3452): 

On December 18, 2025, the North Metro Task Force, in coordination with the DEA, executed search warrants at the Adams County residences of Oscar Serrano Romano and Enrique Delgadillo Ruiz. The searches allegedly resulted in the seizure of approximately 6,758 grams of fentanyl pills (an estimated 67,000 pills), 521 grams of methamphetamine, 45 grams of heroin, and 667 grams of cocaine. 

Both defendants are charged with the following offenses: 

  • Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Distribute a Controlled Substance – Fentanyl (DF1) 

  • Conspiracy to Manufacture or Distribute a Controlled Substance – Fentanyl (DF1) 

  • Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Distribute a Controlled Substance (DF1) 

  • Conspiracy to Manufacture or Distribute a Controlled Substance (DF1) 

  • Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Distribute a Schedule I or II Controlled Substance – More Than 225 Grams (DF1) 

  • Conspiracy – Schedule I or II Controlled Substance – More Than 225 Grams (DF1) 

  • Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Distribute a Controlled Substance (DF2) 

  • Conspiracy to Manufacture or Distribute a Controlled Substance (DF2) 

  • Special Offender (DF1) 

The cases were filed in Adams County District Court. The defendants are scheduled to appear on December 23, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. in Division R2. 

The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual(s) committed offense(s) under Colorado laws. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. See Colo RPC 3.6.
