17th Judicial District Attorney's Office Files 109 Counts of Animal Cruelty Against Patti and Dakotah Joslin

Brighton, CO – The District Attorney’s Office announced today the filing of 109 counts of Animal Cruelty against Patti Joslin, 69, and Dakotah Joslin, 32, related to the confiscation of dozens of animals at a home in the 1900 Block of 116th Drive in Northglenn in July 2025. 

Patti and Dakotah Joslin are charged with:  

  • Aggravated Animal Cruelty (F4) (11 Counts)
  • Cruelty to Animals (M1) (98 Counts)

Case numbers 2025CR002624 and 2025CR002625 were filed in Adams County District Court.

The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual(s) committed offense(s) under Colorado laws. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. See Colo RPC 3.6.
