17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office Files First-Degree Murder Charge Against Gregory Thomas
Brighton, CO —Today, the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office is announcing the filing of charges against Gregory Thomas, 36, for a homicide that occurred in Adams County. The victim’s body was discovered inside of a storage unit at a facility along Devonshire Boulevard on May 19, 2021.
Thomas’ charges include:
Murder in the First Degree (F1)
Tampering with a Deceased Human Body (F3)
Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft in the First Degree (F4)
Case number 2021CR001931 was filed in Adams County District Court and was assigned to Division M. Thomas’ next scheduled court appearance is at 1:30pm on September 23, 2021.
The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual(s) committed a crime(s) under Colorado laws. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. See Colo RPC 3.6.
