Trial Announcement: Case #: 2018CR002394 Defendant: Jeremy Webster

Trial to Begin July 7th for Defendant Accused of Fatally Shooting a 13-Year-Old Boy During Alleged Road-Rage Incident


Brighton, CO —The 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office is announcing that the First-Degree Murder trial of Jeremy Webster will begin on July 7, 2021, in Adams County District Court. Mr. Webster is accused of fatally shooting a 13-year-old boy during an alleged road-rage fueled incident on June 14, 2018, in a parking lot in Westminster. The defendant is also charged with shooting and injuring the boy’s mother, his younger brother, and a bystander.

The defendant is charged with 22 counts including:
  • Murder 1-After Deliberation
  • Murder 1-After Deliberation-Attempted (4)
  • Murder 1-Extreme Indifference (2)
  • Assault 1-SBI with Deadly Weapon (3)
  • Assault 1-Extreme Indifference (1)
  • Assault 1-Extreme Indifference-Attempted (1)
  • Violent Crime-Cause Death/SBI (4)
  • Violent Crime-Used Weapon (6)
