17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office Files First-Degree Assault Charge Against Defendant Related to Crash in Commerce City

Brighton, CO – The District Attorney’s Office announced today the filing of a First-Degree Assault charge against Mario Depaz, 20, related to a crash that resulted in injuries to an ATV rider in Rosehill Grange Park in Commerce City on March 27, 2025. 

Depaz faces the following charges: 

  • First-Degree Assault (F3)

Case number 2025CR000966 was filed in Adams County District Court. Depaz's next court apperance is scheduled for April 9, 2025, at 1:30pm. 

The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual(s) committed offense(s) under Colorado laws. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. See Colo RPC 3.6.
