17th Judicial District Attorney's Office Files Animal Fighting Charges Against Jesus Orozco

Brighton, CO —Today, the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office is announcing the filing of an Animal Fighting charge against Jesus Orozco, 34, related to alleged animal fighting between July 9 and July 18, 2024, in Watkins.  

Orozco is charged with: 
  • Animal Fighting (F5)
  • Cruelty to Animals (M1)
Case number 2024CR002275 was filed in Adams County District Court. Orozco's next court appearance is on July 23, 2024, at 1:30pm in Courtroom 6. 

The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual(s) committed a crime(s) under Colorado laws. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. See Colo RPC 3.6.
