17th Judicial District Attorney's Office Files First-Degree Murder Charge Against Jacob Schadler

Brighton, CO —Today, the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office is announcing the filing of a First-Degree Murder charge against Jacob Schadler, 26, related to the death of a 26-year-old female at a home along Iola Street in Adams County on July 27, 2023. 

Schadler is charged with:  
  • First-Degree Murder (F1)
  • Motor Vehicle Theft (F4)
  • DUI (M)
  • Criminal Mischief (M2) (2 Counts)
  • Theft (PO)
Case number 2023CR002293 was filed in Adams County District Court. Schadler's next court appearance is on September 8, 2023, at 1:30pm. 

The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual(s) committed a crime(s) under Colorado laws. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. See Colo RPC 3.6.
